Caribe Alebrije
Mexican culture gives us endless possibilities in the artistic area. On this occasion I had the opportunity to explore this beautiful culture to conclude a project requested by "Bari Swimwear" with "Visit Mexico".
The challenge was to make three illustrations that represent the Mexican Caribbean (the result should be colorful, but not overdo it), that can be applied in different elements (murals, swimsuits, animation for social networks, etc.), and that the graphic style It is within the canons of fashion (the product must be applied to clothing and sold, for this reason the very extravagant is not allowed).
For this reason I chose to create a mix between the fauna of the Mexican Caribbean and the amazing crafts known as Alebrijes.
The color selection was reduced to a slightly more balanced palette (so that the product can be sold more easily), and the chosen animals are part of the Mexican Caribbean fauna (the raccoon, the turtle and the toucan).
